Alyssa’s Journey

Good Evening,

I am Alyssa from Hamden, CT and have been natural for 3 years. Growing up, I was always embarrassed of my big curly hair, I always wanted it to be straight and sleek like most of my friends, so i damaged it with heat and chemical relaxers. Three years ago I decided to stop the damage and embrace my natural hair! Since then, I have built so much love and confidence in my hair that i have no desire to ever go back to straightening my hair! I truly love being natural and embrace it every day
