Sa’Ryah’s Hair journey

This is my daughter Sa’Ryah, she’s 6 years old and absolutely loves her natural hair now that I’ve big chopped and been natural for two years to help her be comfortable with her naturally kinky hair. We live in Clearfield, Utah… Its very dry here so finding products to keep in moisture is hard but we still  stay positive and rock our naturalness. On top that, of neither of us, really has a curl pattern. She was teased before I big chopped about her hair, but now understands that, we can’t control others thoughts and actions towards others but we can decide to he happy and love ourselves past the ignorance of others! Our journey has been difficult but has been worth it as well. We are very proud of the skin we’re in!
