What Happened To Sandra Bland?

On Monday July 13th at 9AM, Sandra Bland was found dead in a Waller County, Texas jail cell. A graduate of Prairie View A&M, Sandra was relocating from Illinois to begin employment on Wednesday, July 15, at the university. On July 10, near the university, police stopped Sandra for allegedly failing to signal while changing lanes. During the stop, police threw Sandra to the ground claiming she was combative. Raw video obtained shows Sandra on the ground in custody by the officers.

So many questions need to be answered.

Why did the officers slam Sandra on the ground? Ultimately, How did Sandra die in this small Texas county jail cell.

Police claim she died from “self-inflicted asphyxiation.” (Suicide). The question remains “What Happened To Sandra Bland”. Her family and friends knew Sandra to be full of life.  It is important that the truth comes out and justice is served for the Family and Friends of Sandra Bland.
