My name is Tamecia Jenkins IG: tamecia79. I am from Rayville,La. I began my natural hair journey about a year and a half ago. You probably would think I was crazy for perming my hair because I actually have a great hair texture. However I got aggravated with my hair being damaged and really thin. So my sister Latoya who has been natural for 4 years motivated me on my transition. I did not do the big chop because I thought it would be too drastic of a change for me. I just decided to wear wigs and hair pieces and cut my ends at least every three months. While I was doing this I conditioned and applied hair lotion to my hair under my wigs. After a few months, I really began to love the new me. By seeing more women transition, i was more open to my natural beauty. Today, I am trying now to embrace protective hair styles more. I sometimes try the twist out and braid out or I simply just do a wash and go. The only products that I’m using daily are curls unleashed, Chi, and Shea moisture. These products work wonders on my hair giving it a gorgeous shine. I enjoy getting compliments on my hair. I feels awesome to know that you can help others transition as well. Hopefully, in the future my hair will be healthier and i can rock those bouncy flawless curls I have dreamed about and my hair growth will be at least bra length. Yes, I am that determined!!

I have also been transitioning for years now. I am now waist length !!!! Yesss. 🙂 I would say that Nutress Hair products have helped me tremendously! They have a full-size transition kit that is affordable and worth every penny! I don’t know how I would have made it this far without the right products. You can purchase the kit at http://www.nutresshair.com. Let me know if this helps 🙂
