Brandy’s Journey

My name is Brandy and I live in San Antonio, TX.  I have been natural for about two years now and it was one of the greatest decisions I  ever made as a woman.  This new elevation rightly suits my personality; and not only that, it also tweaks my character. 

 Confession: when I first embarked on my natural hair journey, it was for other reasons outside of fashion; one of the most important reasons, I believe, was tuning into what I call my “cultural intimacy.” I’ve grown this vastly precocious correlation to my cultural inheritance that intrigued me to adapt an expression and by that I wanted the world to see my simplified/modernized self. I’ve always been one who was expected to do the unusual so it was no surprise when I chopped my hair off.  That’s right no transitioning just a good ol’ chop, faded new beginning into a brand new wisdom. 

If you ever wanted to outline how comfortably in love with yourself you can possibly be, honey this natural hair journey is yours for free!!  Words of advice to anyone feeling a cringe of reluctance to crossover into this glory, “Beauty is never about your hair, its what’s in your heart that makes you beautiful.”
