No matter the length or texture of one’s hair, finger coils give the look of a short, sleek, versatile style. The style is best achieved by washing and conditioning the hair, and adding your favorite leave-in. You then get your favorite gel, grab a small portion of hair, stretch and twist them around your finger, and repeat this process until the whole head is covered in coils. Beginning with a freshly washed and thoroughly conditioned head of hair, the hair is then done in sections by adding a curl enhancing leave-in. Each of the sections can be 2-strand twisted, placed under a plastic cap, and dried for about 1/2 hour in order to condition and partially straighten the hair. Following that, the hair is parted into sections, a bit more product is added, and each section is wrapped tightly around a perm rod- starting at the root, all the way until the end of the hair. You then sit under a dryer until the curls are set, remove the perm rods, and style as needed. A great style to wear for a gathering with girlfriends, or a night out with your beau, just remember to tie up your edges and cover this style with a scarf or bonnet at night for safe keeping.
